Minutes from the last Meeting

Minutes - of the August 19th 2025 meeting were approved unanimously

Matters Arising

• No Matters Arising

Staffing

• Three GPs have now left for jobs abroad. 
• 2 GP’s have joined the team, one is starting this month and another has been offered and accepted.
• Reception is fully Staffed.
• Two Nurses have been recruited. One Nurse is on maternity leave. The Nursing Team is good. Continuing to recruit a phlebotomist.

Compliments, Complaints and Feedback 

• There were 32 complaints last month.
• There were 10 compliments
• NHS Choices has gone.
• This is a practice that cares and wants to do their best for their patients.

Constitution

1. Next meeting – draft to be brought to next meeting with changes suggested at last meeting. Reflection on aims and what we do.
2. 5pm start and suitable days for meetings to be discussed with members next month.

Any Other Business

• PC mentioned the poor signage on the Oxford Road side of the building, which needs reviewing. Permission is needed from the Landlords to do any alterations.
• Information on what the PPG do will be listed when the website is updated.
• A member from the Social Prescribing Team to be asked to attend a meeting.
• There are 42.380 Patients at BCHC and as a percentage has grown less than the smaller Practices. Kevin will bring statistics to the meeting next month.
