Mental Health Awareness Week 2022
This week, 9th-15th May, is Mental Health Awareness Week 2022. The focus this year is on raising awareness of the impact of loneliness on mental health.
One in four adults can feel lonely some or all of the time, and there is no single cause for this.
At BCHC we have many resources to support those patients who are feeling lonely, including our brilliant Social Prescribing Team. You can find out more about our social prescribers by reading their information leaflet.
The Mental Health Foundation have lots of resources on their website including help and advice on how to cope with loneliness and improve your mental health: https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/campaigns/mental-health-awareness-week/loneliness-help-and-advice
