Ordering prescriptions post the Horsefair and BCHC merger

Patients previously registered with Horsefair Surgery will need to re-register themselves on the NHS app or Patient Access post the merger with BCHC which takes place on 26 May 2020.

Unfortunately this is an unavoidable part of the merger process, however, we want to reassure you that we are here to support you in ensuring you can order your repeat prescriptions. There are number of different ways to do this, outlined below.

NHS app:-

The NHS app is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical record and more.

For more information and to download the app go to www.nhs.uk/nhsapp

Please note that you will need a smartphone or a tablet to be able to do this.

Patient Access:-

If you do not have access to a smartphone or tablet and are therefore unable to use the NHS app then please register for Patient Access.

Online ordering form:-

If you are ordering a prescription for somebody under 16, or are unable to use the NHS app or Patient Access, please complete the form below.

Post:-

For those people who are unable to access the internet you are welcome to post your request to BCHC.  We will need your full name, date of birth, full contact details and the required drug and dosage in order to be able to process your request.

You can find a post box for requests inside the rear entrance to our South Bar House site if you would prefer to hand deliver your request, or you can of course post requests to us via Royal Mail.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone.
